On this site you will learn all about different kinds of child abuse, its psychological effects, how to help a victim or survivor, and much more. When the building blocks of childhood are filled with child abuse, there is so much that child needs, from childhood well into adulthood. The moments of abuse may have passed, but they are permanent; never diminish a survivor's pain, even if that survivor is you. The crest that you will see as you browse the website declares in Latin: Crescat Scientia Vita Excolatur; Translated, it means: Let knowledge grow, let life be enriched.
This site has an emphasis on DID/MPD, with lots of information relevant to it. There is much on the internet about MPD/DID, but nothing about multiple and personal empowerment. Even if you don't have MPD/DID, you will find a lot of information on how to empower yourself and take control of your life.
A Voice From The Dunes calls out to all who thirst for healing. Healing means more than just feeling better, it also means changing things about yourself to allow you to thrive, not simply endure. This oasis provides articles on how to live healthily, not just physically, but psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, and sexually.
This site addresses all things related to abuse. There will be no trigger warnings. There are some hard topics discussed and explained, and some brief examples are given to illustrate a concept, so be prepared. Some topics address adult themes, and even if nothing is inappropriate, personal discretion is advised.
